     “Because you have desired ME & delighted in ME, because you love ME, you cling to ME & have become joined together with ME; for this reason I will deliver you – I will make a way for you to slip out and escape. I will make you safe & strong, I will defend you & lift you up so that you are in a lofty, inaccessible, safe place - & this I will do because you MY child have recognised, you have observed & thought about, you have cared for, respected & understood MY honor, MY character, MY authority, reputation & renown. And you have discovered, through diligence you have discerned & perceived & experienced ME - MY NAME - WHO I am!

     You will call out to ME, cry out loud MY Name, accost ME to get MY attention; & I will have MY eye on you, I will hear & I will answer you, I will respond to you & begin to speak to you & reply to you – I will pay attention to you & I will heed you! When you are crowded out & in a tight place, when you are in distress, in anguish & affliction, when suffering tribulation & adversity, when you are in straits & your adversary is coming for you – when you feel the ‘tightness’ of it all – I will be with you!

     I will arm you & equip you for the fight, I will strengthen you & I will also loose you, draw you out & pull off & strip from you this tightness. I will make you ‘heavy’ with worth; numerous & great, laden, rich & enduring – I will add to you what you do not have; I will honor you!

     You will be sated & filled to satisfaction for I will give you plenty, a surfeit of time & days, & your prolonged, long days will be full & satisfying, for you will behold MY deliverance. You will discover & get acquainted with MY saving of you, you will enjoy & experience MY aid, MY victory; you will gain understanding of MY prosperity – MY health & welfare for you, & you will see MY help for I will save you!”

“Because” - what a simple yet powerful little word. Because can change your present, alter your future and even redeem your past! Because can save us ….  (Joel 2:25a “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,”)
Because HE is GOD - All Powerful, All Knowing … because HE is Love and delights in mercy; because HE gives us what we need and not what we deserve!
We love HIM because HE first loved us; we choose HIM because HE first chose us - and because (by HIS grace) we have set our hearts and affections upon HIM, HE will save, rescue, guard, protect, redeem, care for, look after and provide for us …
 
Isaiah 59:19b ”When the enemy comes in, like a flood The SPIRIT of The LORD will lift up a standard against him.“
Psalm 18:16-19 “HE sent from above, HE took me; HE drew me out of many waters. HE delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.
